A page cannot start Wireshark, so a small program on your machine opens it for the page: the Wireshark bridge, which needs Python 3 and Wireshark.

Download wireshark-bridge.py and run it, which it does until it is stopped: python3 wireshark-bridge.py
On Linux, Wireshark captures through dumpcap, which may be left to the members of the wireshark group. If the bridge says Wireshark cannot run it, join the group, then log in again, or start the bridge in it: sudo usermod -aG wireshark $USER sg wireshark -c "python3 wireshark-bridge.py"
If the browser asks whether this site may reach apps and services on your device, allow it.

Settings

CLI style Make the routers' CLI work like Junos or IOS XR. Page style How the page looks, in either theme. Animate packets Draw each packet crossing its link. Show IPv4 loopbacks Write the IPv4 loopback address of each router in its box. Show IPv6 loopbacks Write the IPv6 loopback address of each router in its box.

Micro-loop log

Found in the routes the routers install, as they install them: packets for a prefix go round the routers given for as long as its loop lasts. A loop that went round several ways, at once or as the routers reconverged in turn, is in the row of each. Hover over a row to see it in the drawing, or click it to keep it there and list its prefixes.
